And after such a display of gentlemanly style and refinement.... [/div][/IMG] Some funky hi-beat badassery... with two side-kicks.
This 14k Admiral arrived the other day... Much to my chagrin, she has a bent lug down and in at the 7 that seller neglected to disclose. He's offered to have his watchmaker repair it or take it back. I rather like the watch, was happy with the price, it's in great condition otherwise and keeping time accurately(needs a proper crown, but I knew that when purchasing). Indeed, I already have a glossy dark brown distressed croc strap ready to mount. I've never dealt with a bent lug like this before, any feedback from those more educated than myself about any effects on the integrity of the case, etc. is greatly appreciated. If major red flag, I'll reluctantly return. Thank you all again![emoji106]
Finally, I have 'conquered' a Conquest , and I'm quite smitten ... She's a 9021, from 1966... Thanks, Marcus!
I knew that wouldn't take long! Congrats on your Conquest! [emoji106] I'm hoping to join that club soon myself...
At long last, my Ultra-Chron has emerged from extended care! My WM finally found a way to salvage the cal 431, and now she's running like a top!
Here is my HydroConquest. Bought it about 7 months ago and it is my first automatic watch. Very happy about it
Here is my Longines Conquest Classic Chrono. Monster chronometer: +0.6sec/day in winter, -1.5sec/day in summer. One year in my wrist and very happy with it.
