This particular model is at the high end of that range. It has a Swiss made case, is automatic and is a Jaeger-LeCoultre, not a US market model.

All are "plus" attributes.

Just to clarify, I was talking about the GF bracelet. The watch itself is much higher. Gatorcpa is correct, the JLC Memovox is more desirable than the US LeCoultre version.

Don't think that I would spend that mutch on a bracelet just jet, I don't think that I'm going to keep it that long either, it's better to pass it on to some collecter that "really" wants it and appreciates it more then me , I'm more of a omega vintage fan and hublot ofc 😉 😀
But who knows this is my first JLC mabye a start of something new

That watch looked like a NOS to me but I'm really not an expert on JLC so I have no idea.

look, I`d double your buying price for the lot and only take the JLC. no expert in JLC at all; just like the look. Kind regards from down under. achim.....could even top it up with a vintage Omega trade in......

I think I will keep it for now and respect the forum rules of 200 posts 😀 and also do some research about this one, a sold an el primero once and I

That Hodinkee article is also four years old. Prices have gone up.

Yeah but that piece was in , I think mint condition!
This has some patina , like someone said before. And the bracelet is missing aswell
Mabye this one can be in that prize range now, but I think less,
But I have really no idea😀

WW2 Elgin diver: abandoned at a watchmakers by a disagreeable customer, I purchased this for the cost of (extensive) repairs, the watchmaker just wanted his time and money out of it.

found while looking for a case in the parts bin at another watchmaker, he sold it to me pretty cheap fully serviced after a brief parts hunt for a regulator.

Hi.
I have had a few Best Vintage watch finds over the years.
But I still think my only Omega that I own which I bought for £2.00 on a car boot sale two years ago is my Very Best.

My mother found it but when it never was claimed gave it to me:

As found (and to be clear, it was lost and found) it was head only with a service bezel. 145.022-68

Ahh! I just remembered (and found the post) where I had shown this Speedmaster already in this thread. So to atone here's my latest best vintage find - thanks to the "Recommended Vintage Longines" thread. I was surprised after that exposure no one else seemed interested. The reserve was high, probably a little over the real value, but still...

This Red Sub would definitely be my best vintage find.

Previously owner had it in a sock drawer for 20 years and forgot about it. That's why it had so much patina.

It’s not perfect, but the price was. Ah the good old days when I carried an ancient iPhone 4. Times were simple. Neighbors sat on their porches sipping lemonade and greeting those who passed by. Children.... sometimes went outside. A big tv was anything larger than 32 in diagonally. Sigh.
