Ive never seen this “to be worn on the side of the wrist” advertising. Very cool

I used to own a Lord Elgin driving watch, it was tiny in size with hinged lugs and was designed to be worn on the stride of the wrist like that. I'm pretty certain that several companies produced watches to be worn in that fashion.

I don’t own any “curated” group of three from any one brand. I merely happen to have a few more than 3 Omega, exactly 3 Rolex, then less than 3 spattering of some other brands.

But were I to try and curate:

As for Rolex and a more “curated” collection of 3 with a range of utility, the SkyDweller I would with some reluctance swap for a special 16750 GMT (whereas the modern Sub is my perfect daily beater, and the Datejust was my grandfather’s, never leaving the “collection”):

As for Omega, the gold plated 007 is fun, but I’d ideally replace it with a 145.013 cal.910 Flightmaster (the NEW321 is a forever 3, while the Connie is the first vintage watch, and first Omega, I ever bought and never leaving the “collection” - though it’s in need of repair and a crown)

This was/is the display box at the point of sale. Came with the watch when I bought it……I wasn’t the initial owner😁

I don't own three of any one brand, except for Omega

So my honest answer to the dreaded:
"How many watches do you own?"
Just two [insert brand I'm wearing].

what can I say, I'm honest like that.

The modern steel Ploprof is my go to watch for vacation. The Aqua Terra is functional for most any situation. I do love the SMP300, Omega knocked it out of the park with this version. However, I'm selling it, and hope to replace it with the GMT SMP 300 (hopefully released soon).

I could not decide which of the four MC-12Hs to eliminate.

Viewer's choice it is then!

Shown in order of acquisition top to bottom.

Two are at the watchmaker so I was not able to show them all in one shot.

Edit: Two clicks of the mouse blow them up without causing and pain. 😉

Bit mundane by the standards set here.
Trio of Citizen Hisonics. One date, one day/date and one really unusual gold cased.

My three beautiful bumpers

Beautiful!

You wasted no time getting that newly acquired black waffle dial SM into action here.
