I think you guys are making me super fussy, probably a good thing.
I passed on the Seamaster it had very minor discoloring on the dial near the calendar and at 6. Minor case polishing. Beat error was 2.2-2.4, running about 50s slow. Nice BOR though.
Saved money for the next one and 5k a/c unit.
Think I will pass on the Eterna too.

New pics of the Eterna, but only slightly better with outdoor lighting. The dial looks pretty good and the case is still hard to say how polished it is. It is gold cap so will likely be softer.
Inscription on back says 1952. Think i may bid CAD $500.

Check EBay’s completed auctions and see what other Eterna models sell for

I can see by your image the case has small pock marks in it and to me. Unless at least. 8-9/10 condition on gold filled or capped. I buy for the movement and toss the case

on that watch. $150 - $175 at best

last. Hate hidden crowns. Winding with the side of your finger is going to leave a callus. Only reprieve if movement is fully serviced and winding is smooth

I kinda like hidden crowns at least on an automatic watch which this is.
Hard to value these Eternas. I agree a common one is worth about $175. According to seller, the dial has no spotting and is gilt black. The photos are still bad.
Serviced by him 10 years ago so due again.
If steel case I would be on this. Maybe someone else will buy so I can forget about it.
