!!Warning - Terrible Images Ahead!!

Hello lovely OF people.

I was wondering if you'd be able to give me some insights as to this possible
166.0168 from 1973 that's turned up at auction here.

Unfortunately these are the only photos available and the seller "can't get better photos until next weekend". Current 'buy now' price is $480 USD... the case back is signed, which supports its legitimatcy but I'm just not sure about the positioning of the indicies between 11-12 o'clock and the look of that date window as most examples I've seen frame the date with a sharper border. The reference mentioned above is only a 'best guess' based off my research as there are no photos of the movement and no mention of the reference. I also have an inkling that the dial has been touched up slightly in a photo editing app as it seems strangely soft in its left hand hemisphere... but that could just be a result of the terrible photos.

I know these photos aren't much to go off but what do you all think about its validity, condition, and price?

Thanks in advance!

So the seller has updated the bracelet info saying that it's engraved with the Omega logo, the number 1068, 'Gold plated 20microns, Stainless Steel' and No12 by the lugs. Sound legit?

your avatar? 😲

It's from a portrait of Olympia Luna and Melchiorre Zoppio as Judith and Holoferne...

Thanks for your response, I appreciate it! 😀

The watch appears legit from those pictures. Condition seems to be ok but it’s hard to be sure as more pictures are required to confirm.

It’s not a particularly sought after reference so I wouldn’t be looking to over pay for it. I’d say the current price is about its limit unless it’s in particularly excellent condition.
