I just made my first big (for me, anyway) purchase directly from a private seller. I was super nervous, but must report that Axelay2003 did a fantastic job. I think others can buy from him with confidence.

Alexay2003 had great communication, extensive documentation of the shipping process, and managed to get the watch to me within 24 hours. I've bought a lot of watches off of eBay and I've never had anyone be so thoughtful and thorough.

As best I can tell, he got stuck with the item on eBay after they changed some of the fees. In the end, it saved him and myself both a bunch of money by doing the sale privately.

Not sure if he's a member here, but he is active on WUS and other forums. I thought it worth posting here, since I started the other thread in the Open Discussion area of the forum.
