You can get a killer vintage Navitimer for a price similar to any of your examples (new).

Might be projecting my taste but I’d much prefer a classic Navitimer (or Co-Pilot, Top-Time....) over their newer catalogue - plus they’re the equivalent to Range Rover Sports in terms of resale.... (dicey)

Not a Breathing fan at all, but I agree, if they speak to you go for The Navitimer as its classic for the brand.

Yeah, I think they’re all ugly. Not even a single close call.

To my eye, Breitlings frequently seem to have some elements that are out of proportion to others. All of these have that flaw.

As 6 seems to the preferred choice, how about an alternative with vaguely similar colouration? Perhaps one of the Golden Eye Glycine Combat Subs? Example below.

@DUFF Ace sry if I sound harsh. It’s just that those are fairly unloved by collectors and purchased by people that want an expensive watch that’s not a Rolex. You should also note that almost everything voted for has been replaced by the new “Navitimer” line they just announced.

https://www.ablogtowatch.com/breitling-navitimer-8-watch-collection/

What exactly are you looking for? Do these really speak to you? Or are you just trying to find a good watch in a budget?

The 806 or the original Navitimer is still kind of in the collection with the “01” that you can view on thier website.

I love new watches but I’m not a fan of Breitlings current offerings and feel they have a wealth of amazing pieces made back in the day.

The problem with the ones you selected are Breitlings, but don’t scream it like the 01 does and won’t get any notice. If you like the look of those and don’t care about the brand there are much more affordable options out there. If you want a big brand reputation on a watch you need need one that you can see from a distance like a Rolex or an 01 etc.

Honestly Tudor has better options that look very similar to what you’ve selected

What watches speak to you? What are your goals? How will you wear the watch? With a suit? Casual? Or a mix?

I'd agree, and, though I like the 'idea' of the Breitling brand, the current models don't appeal to me aesthetically. I too like the original Navitimer, 806, along with the only Breitling I've ever owned, my 816. Now this is a big watch - one you can certainly see from a distance!

That's a very nice looking watch imo. I have a blue face/orange bezel Combat Sub and it's a great watch. (thanks again Dougiedude 👍)

Three. Breitlings I recommend. These are watches I have had. They are great. The modern watches not a fan. But the vintage watches are great.

Out of these 6 - but to me the navitimer is the ultimate Breitling.

The op's selection are horrible to my eye.
The 806 made Breitling , why would look to their recent stuff ?
