路If i didn't have an original MKII with the racing dial I'd probably pick that dial. But Ultraman is no slouch either, it hits all the right notes.

路@gyromiterob So, with 70 posts and plenty of votes for each of them, please let us know which way are you leaning. Personally, I can't pick between the two and own both - they are both great designs in their own ways and you can't go wrong with either of them.
I have a deposit on the moon landing 50th anniversary speedy which has yet to make an appearance. If I like that watch, it will be my choice. Otherwise, I'm leaning to the Racing. I have a standard moon watch now so the grey face of the Racing would be different for me. I'm going to Tokyo in June and will be visiting several of the well know watch resellers - maybe I'll find one there? If not, I can wait for one to show up.
I really appreciate everyone's responses. Seems like people are very passionate about both of these awesome watches.

路Japan racing is subjectively more special. But the AML, step dial, DON bezel, and that insane seconds hand just push the Ultraman to the top for me.

路I like the colours of the ultraman, but the running seconds hand and cartoon character in the seconds dial bug me no end. So my vote is for Japan racing.
