Can, or should, metallic indices be polished when the watch is serviced? I've noticed many are tarnished and wondered if polishing is taboo?

I’d rather they didn’t try and risk damage to the dial, its a nice watch as it is

Yes, it's an All-Guard. You can see the four "guard" terms clearly.

Movement is the same as the Conquest 9000 of the same vintage. Descent watches?
