Hello All

I have this Polerouter 204610-4 tha I wear more rarely than I'd like to cause I have to wind through all the days to set the date correctly (no quickset).

Does anyone know, definitively if it's safe to do the go to midnight, go to nine, then go back to midnight trick. I've seen people do it but I'd rather not destroy the movement to save 5-10 min.

These movements are temperamental. I’d say no.

That remark from you is enough to scare me off from ever attempting this. Haahahaha.

Thanks Larry.

I have been adjusting the date on my Polerouter as you described for years without any problem... If that is something that is stopping you from wearing the watch, I would consider to buy a winding machine.

Sadly with date watches without quick set, one must note the date on the watch and mark one’s calendar accordingly. Or …. Patiently turn the crown.
