PO 2500 Check

Hi all! Finally hunted down a decent looking Po2500 after 6 years of pining for one! Long story short, was stuck in the Rolex race until it became an exclusive VIP only game. Took a step back and decided to pursue the watches that I’ve missed along the way.

Would appreciate an opinion on the originality of the dial/bezel etc, as I’ve been out of the game for awhile.

Does this look ok to everyone? Reputable seller, of course.
Thanks in advanced !

Very nice. Off topic a tad but is there any way to tell which version of 2500 movement that is (C or D) by just the movement picture? The date dial suggests C. Asking as my supposed 2500D looks identical. At least to my uneducated eyes.

Hey Archer,
Advertised as a 2006 model, didn’t claim it to be 2500D. 42mm.

Thanks Archer! I presume it’s a 2500C?

thanks archer!
so really no visual way to see that difference by opening up the case back?
Only can tell by serial number or the date dial?
I guess that makes sense, why label something 2500A when you have no idea if you'll ever need the B...

For whatever reason, there are a bunch of models that the Omega Extranet doesn't identify the variant of the caliber. So in this case, I don't know. I can't make out in the photo if there is a caliber and variant listed under the balance - it almost appears that it has been smudged out using photoshop or something.

They used to put the caliber and variant under the balance:

But it seems they are no longer doing that...

The date wheel font is different between c and d isn't it? That may help assuming date wheel is original.

have fun

I wouldn’t have guessed a D...

looks like the earlier AR coating and no laser etched globe.

Archer has decoded two PO's.
Toad's 220150 which is D, but OP's pumpkin indeed looks like earlier production C.

Beautiful pumpkin, OP. Congratulations. The 2500 is by far the PO I like the most, specially in 42mm.

@Archer: would you be so kind of checking what movement is in mine ? 2201.50, 86072863. With such a high S/N I'm pretty sure is a D, but just to confirm.

Thanks !
