Question: I just edited a sales post to avoid confusion. Does that count as a bump?

 

If you edited the original post, no. That action alone is not the same as a bump. If you replied to the listing itself with new information, which brings the listing to the top of the for sale section, that counts as a bump.

 

While I am sure you are of pure intentions, I'm going to call it a bump just to prevent the establishment of a dangerous precedent, the 3 times-a-day editor.

Good rule, if it moves the listing, it's a bump.

Thanks a lot! And apologies. Well aware of the bump-rule, but missed the one-listing point. Will not post anything in the marketplace for the remainder of the weekend.

 

Safe a copy of your texts, in case one of the ads gets deleted. Typing it all again can be rather annoying.

Can't all this be automated? Genuinely curious how there's a subscription to remove the ads but no automated system to check FS posts and the 24 hour posting rule.

 

An automatic system would likely mean that we couldn’t respond to FS ads and comments anymore.

 

How about a little self-restraint and following the rules?
