How do you spell "Missions"?

And not to pile on, but if you were just looking at the face of the watch, the overall fit/finish is a dead giveaway as well; The case facets are poorly machined and unattractive, the bezel has numerous issues, "Tachymeter" is misspelled, the font is off, hash marks are all off. The dial is a poorly done copy of an Omega racing dial but not even a copy really, just a odd knock off. Crown is not Omega authentic. That's what I see in a 1 minute glance.

Welcome to Omega Forums by the way ! Let's talk about getting you into a proper, and authentic Speedmaster !

Thanks for the info! I love the look and styling. Getting a REAL one is next on the list.
What could I expect to pay for a similar (authentic) watch?

Totally new and figured the best bet was to start here. I purchased this in Germany circa 2003. Im guessing it is a fake given the amount I paid (several hundred). Any obvious indicators?
Thanks-
You paid several hundred what: £/€/$? Either way it was too much, it’s not a Speedmaster of any kind other than fake. A Speedmaster would have a working chronograph for a start, the pushers on this probably move the subdial hands at a guess. Anyway, a real Speedmaster will cost you several thousand and upwards of your £/$/€. Good luck in your search.

That's the one mentioned in my thread yesterday . Never thought to look here first . Have reported my disappointment to auction house already.

Hideous !!

Yeah, that's up there with the worst I've seen. What an abomination.
