As a still noob who doesn’t know much outside of (or even inside an) Omega what is bad other than the redial and how over polished it is?

Check out the completed listings for "Vintage Hermes Watch". You will see that this watch has sold 4 times in the last few months and has been returned. This is lucky number 5.......I guess. There is a reason this seller keeps his sold listings private. This "Hermes" looks like it came from Uruguay. 🤦

I’m voting no, but this is for reporting of fakes. There is another sub forum for asking if this is fake.

Sorry. I was so sure that it is a fake that I got confused as to where to post this.

Post now deleted.

PS
I did run across an Omega movement and dial mounted in a vintage Elgin square case. Since they were up front about what it is I guess that doesn't count as a fake per se'.
Seen several similar Franken Megas lately.

Maybe you meant to post this one here.

.........The seller has other listings of Seamasters which looked pretty fake.

Which ones specifically?

They all look legitimate to me. Not the best in class, but all genuine watches.

To the last two posters, @oscargamer and @shawnc9, spend some time here.

Examinations start in one week in room Omega 101.

Thanks for the advice. Looks like I got a whole deal of studying to do. 👍

Well some of the 711s were only done to two positions, not temps as they weren't all chronometers.

As to the missing text. Who knows. Replacement bridge? Broken engraver? Bad QA? Friday watch?

Can we all agree that if we're not 100% sure about a watch that we don't post it on the Fakes, Redials or Recommended on eBay boards?

Just want to raise a finger in regards of "[email protected]"
This person says he is Tony from the Sdwatches which as you can see he is missing a "S".
The real Tony can be contacted via sdwatches.com and also have a Gmail address, but check so it has the right email

Maybe 200 minimum post count?
