Reported and denied by ebay

Gets me worked up into a frenzy when eBay's fake AI customer service agent sends me a note that they looked into it and found no violation.

I sometimes send the seller a PM asking them politely if they know that they are selling a fake as a genuine Omega product. Often results in them removing the listing voluntarily.

Yea I got the same, I think @X350 XJR is somehow the only person they pay attention to on these for some reason, he’s like the eBay whisperer

F... me! I can tell that something is wrong with the price, to good to be true, But the rest, I don`t know... Wait a minute is the He valve in line with the centre of the dial? 😜 Reported to E-bay and contacted the seller.
Look at the photo of the pictogram, warranty and master chronometer cards. You’ll see that none of the watch information (reference number, watch number, access code, etc.) appears on the cards. There’s also no holographic watermark on the card. A card with a genuine watermark looks like this:

Oh yeah, the devil is in the details. Thanks for posting, this is why I would like to have pictures with these posts, to learn. You see I am planning to set up a faketory when I retire and I want it to be perfect. 😉

Hey! I got an answer from the seller:

Good afternoon! My wife gave them to me for my birthday. She bought a watch in Bahrain, it's next to Dubai and the United Arab Emirates.

And I'm selling because I'm allergic to metal watches

I am sorry sir but the watch you are selling are a fake. But I guess you know that, since the price is so low.

It’s the usual nonsense from Kazakhstan. The seller is always new to eBay (this guy joined last month). If you look at the seller’s profile, there will typically be only a few items for sale - a luxury watch and one or two inexpensive items like sunglasses or an article of clothing. There will either be no feedback or the feedback will be 100% positive (and fraudulent). The watch listed for sale will be new or like new, comes with a full kit, and will be listed for auction at a low starting price. Usually the seller will state that he/she does not accept returns, but some will say that they do to further the scam. In my opinion, none of these sellers even possess the watch to begin with. The photos are stolen from elsewhere on the internet. The sad part is that there are almost always multiple bids on these watches. A noob sends the money thinking that he/she got a bargain, the watch never arrives, and the seller disappears. The easiest way to catch these sellers is to ask them for the watch’s serial number and access code from the master chronometer card. Tell them that you would like that information so that you can check the watch’s METAS test results on Omega’s website. If it’s a scam, which it always is, they either won’t respond to you or they’ll give you some bullshit excuse for not providing the information. If they are dumb enough, like this seller, to post photos of the counterfeit cards with no information and no watermark on them, that’s all you need to know.

The vintage ones are sometimes a genuine mistake, they can slip by even well established sellers who have sold watches. The modern ones, they know they’re scamming people.

Yus. The last 8 I've reported found no violation

It appears eBay are now the new Etsy and are allowing fakes to be sold.

This one is still up. One day and 10 hours to go. Currently bid up to $1,750 with 50 watchers. I’ve reported it to eBay several times and messaged the seller who responded by telling me that if I have any complaints that I can speak with his lawyer (yeah, I’m really intimidated now 😁). If anybody else wants to join in and report this listing, feel free. Otherwise, some unsuspecting buyer is, at best, going to pay a lot of money for a fake, or, at worst, is going to pay a lot of money for a watch that never arrives.
