I'm guessing by frankenwatch, you mean a fakie? Thanks for your help, and yea I love the looks. It comes from a pretty big seller and they guarantee authenticity so I don't know.

A frankenwatch is a watch build op from genuine parts but all combined have not been in an Omega catalogue.

However please wait for more experienced people around here..

Not a single authentic Omega part visible. I doubt the movement is either.

unless someone might explain the 50's hands, the pristine case, the even more pristine dial, the rough executed crown, the too long seconds- and left chronograph hands (repainted?) and the even so roughly executes inner sides of the lugs/case.
But I really do not know 馃摉馃摉馃摉
Do you have pics of the movement?

All the info I provided is what was given. It is for sale for 4.5k and they claim to have been appraised at 9k. Says the case cover and material are custom made so you are probably right. If it were don't like you suggest, would it still be worth that much?

There you are... "Custom made"

Depending on the movement maybe $800 or $400.... Or maybe 50

The case and strap are about $1 from a Chinese sweatshop, the movement could be Omega but you can't know until you see it, dial isn't original. Cheap junk really

Nice looking confection, if it was 拢5 in a flea market.

If you haven't already run away into a neighbouring country, you should put as much distance between yourself & this watch as possible.

Looks like those junk pocket watch conversions coming from Ukraine. They used the movements to create truly "original" "military" pieces. eBay was flooded with them at one point.
