Probably genuine, but with a poorly repainted dial. The movement looks very dirty and/or corroded, obviously, and a piece of the regulator is missing. Can you show the inside of the case-back please.

It's also missing a case clamp and screw. It looks like the once rubber gasket has deteriorated at some point and made a mess all over the movement.

It's genuine but probably had a very hard life and was in a poor state. The movement looks very dirty, the case back had been refinished, the case very polished and the dial repainted.
So, yes it's genuine but it's had a lot of work that isn't of a particularly high standard.

In other words, save your money for a better watch.

He has already bought it.

It's definitely a redial.

Would you mind sharing the price?

Oh, the newbie tax. Pretty much all of us have paid it one way or another. Hopefully it was not too much. 🙁

I took it to the watch fix service and I forgot to take a photo of the inside of case-back

Return it if you can. It will cost more than the purchase price just to put the movement in decent shape, but there's nothing that will improve that dial except a better redial. That's more money and it still won't be authentic. Instead, buy this: FS - *Reduced* Lovely Omega Seamaster from 1959! | Omega Forums Take it to a good independent watchmaker with an Omega parts account. Have the movement serviced and the small hole in the lume on the hour hand repaired and you will have a very nice, reliable authentic vintage Seamaster that you will be proud to wear.

The original crown would have an Omega logo, but it's hard to say what to expect on the back without knowing the actual reference. There should be engravings on the inside of the case-back.

Hands are incorrect replacements too...It's a mess not worth investing any additional funds on.

As Dan says the logo is a generic replacement. It should have an Omega logo. The caseback has been heavily repolished. I don’t know if this reference had a caseback logo but it’s been refinished so hard the original caseback finish, whatever it was has been removed
