Hello forum,

I recently saw this Omega on eBay.
It has a caliber 712 with 23 starting serial number. Ref. is 163.001. I never saw such a dial, but I really like it. I don’t think it’s a redial, do you?
It comes with original papers (strangely bought in 83 but with the correct serial number on it)
The original box has a „ century“label on it, anybody saw this model before?

This lower case font style did exist but you would need much clearer pics of the dial to assess this dial properly, the unusual dial may account for some distortion.
However, check out the Ns in Constellation, they most likely should be curved not straight when this watch was produced.

The Ns also put me off. Not only are they straight, but the second leg seems shorter. And the word "Officially" looks very wobbly.
