Hi guys,
Due to my false judgements for the purchase of some watches in the near past, I could not help not asking a question about this planet ocean 22015000 42mm.
Is it ok ? Original?

thank you for helping me

From the photos it appears ok. I’d like a more clear picture of the case back and serial number on the lugs. It should have one.

Thanks a lot.
Do you think it’s ok if I ask the seller for these photos or maybe I will insult him in a way?

I would ask. You will feel worse getting burnt than he will if you hurt his feels asking for pics

He shouldn’t have a problem.

it has the laser etch, and when these where faked I don’t see any of the tells on them.
Great pieces but a clear caseback shot shouldn’t be a huge issue.
I suspect the seller know a it’s not a 2500d and doesn’t want that discussion. It should be a b or c as it has the laser etching.

I wouldn't worry about insulting him. If you're spending several thousand dollars, you want to be sure you're getting an authentic watch. If the seller gets insulted for you asking for more pictures then it's more likely than not a fake. Just don't go asking the seller to do things that are unreasonable like opening up the caseback for a picture of the movement.

Do you probably know how can I tell if this is 42 or 45mm?

No, not by looking at the pictures. Some other members more knowledgeable than me could probably give you more advice.

I think that the bezel is an indication but I am not sure. The big one has scalloped edge. The 42 is more like a coin edge... don’t know how to explain it better with English language...

A watch in OP is 42mm, which does correspond correctly to 2201.50 reference number.
The overall dial/bezel geometry tells you the size, and bezel teeth are very helpfull too - check some photos of 42mm and 45mm bezels, the teeth are very different.
I see no red flags but it wouldn't hurt to request more photos in focus. More photos is nothing odd when you are buying an item for circa. $3k.
It looks like early production watch with blue AR coating on a crystal. This blue AR is/was prone to scratching, so more photos of the crystal would be my number one to ask.

Hello,
Since i own the same model in 42mm, i can confirm that the end links of the 42mm have the code "952".

As far as i remember the 45,5mm should have end links with the code "951"...

Are you sure is this the 45,5mm model?
