I found this watch on Chrono 24, and would like your opinion. To my eye, the case retains a nice sunburst pattern. The patina on the indices of the dial is somewhat uneven, but the hands appear to have a patina similar to the dial. The logo on the caseback has faded. The movement seems fine. They state that the watch is from 1975, but I thought that Mark 2 production ceased 1972. https://www.chrono24.com/omega/speedmaster-mark-ii--1975--id12155795.htm
You guys are ruthless and super helpful! I’m a noob. But I love these watches. Something about them... Can you give me an example on the web of one that is for sale and good so that I could study it?
Check this page out, many beautiful examples for reference. http://chronomaddox.com/omega/articles/mark_series/MarkSeries.html Kind regards, Max

Am I right in thinking that these mark 2's have recently risen in price significantly? I'm seeing lots of them on Chrono 24, Ebay, for very high prices (at least to me). what is a reasonable price for a good one these days? I'm starting to wonder whether I should just buy a new Speedy and forget about the vintage option.
There are some good photos in the thread when I bought my Mark II: https://omegaforums.net/threads/mark-ii-cal-861-second-try.93801/ Hope it is helpful to provide visual clues on what to look while choosing one.
