Ok, I know I've posted quite a few of these already, but I came across one that has gotten me excited based on what I see. What do you guys think?

The case looks good, maybe lapped? But the sunburst pattern is beautifully retained, in my opinion. Lug width seems appropriate?

The dial looks amazing, except for the lume at 5:00 which is slightly darker than the rest.

I like the hands, although their patina doesn't quite match the rest of the dial. Does this indicate that the dial or the hands are a replacement?

I'm certainly not an expert at critiquing movements, but this one looks good to my eye when I compare it to a reference standard. According to the seller, it has been checked out by an Omega Certified shop and works well. A timegraph is included. Perhaps someone can help me interpret this?

The crystal is an Omega replacement, as specified by the seller, and it juts out quite a bit beyond the case, as these replacements tend to do.

The logo on the caseback has almost completely faded.

Overall, visually, this one looks pretty nice, compared to others that I've seen.

Price is hovering around 2700 USD. I believe the racing dial is commanding a premium here.

    Hi @Cozmopak

The case has been refinished and whilst it looks OK I think a bit of metal has been removed in the process and this is the reason why the crystal is sitting so high.

The case back has also been refinished, but incorrectly, as it should not have a circular pattern in the middle and the hippocampus is all but gone.

The hands and dial look OK although there looks to be a little corrosion/paint loss to the tip of the chrono hand. I think I can see a 'T SWISS MADE T" at the bottom of the dial, but you may want to check that out. The bracelet is correct but I could not see which end links are present (they should be 173). The serial number dates the watch to around June 1973

If you like this watch I would try to negotiate a lower price but I think in the long run you are better off looking for one which retains the original case finish if possible.

Totally agree, if you're looking for a keeper, be patient and keep an eye out for a better case.

I recently got this nice original condition racing dial mark 2. They are getting more sparse, but still come up

If those are the seller's photos, they are taking great pains to not show how much material is left at the lugs where the bracelet attaches. These refinished cases often have very little material left as many of the guys doing this take off a lot of material, and increase the angle to leave as much of the flat portion of the case at the crystal as they can.

As much as these looks nice, I would be looking for one that isn't refinished if it were me...
