Hello, I came across this 1940’s Longines. Unfortunately only one picture. Any advice would be much appreciated? Best
Thank you, this is probably the reason no one has bid on eBay. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gents-Vi...644688?hash=item1aa3d2b490:g:M9UAAOSwNIhfXOsSPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Hey, look at this. I have a similar watch with this case. It is a british E.B.E case with swivel lugs. It came across in the late 1940's. The Longines movement was sent to their agent Baume in UK and the the rest was built around the movement under Longines license. Here's the thread: https://omegaforums.net/threads/any-information-about-uk-case-maker-out-there.111218/#post-1466903 There you see an original dial with original hands.
They look similar but they are not. Your one look an original one but not the one I shared. Thank you for sharing though. It is interesting
You should think about that the dial of the watch you shared is a redial and not original, that is fantasy. The case is the same and that is the point.
