Morning All.

Rightly so, most of us will be staying home over the Easter weekend so what are everyone's plans for being productive and keeping sane?

I've got a few bits to soon the garden, such as finishing a bit of dry stone walling, pointing up some stone flags and putting down some slate, but after spending the last hour browsing OF and instagram I can see myself going vintage watch e-shopping if the opportunity arises. I haven't really been active over the last few months due to work and our new baby but I can feel myself getting the urge to jump back in.

I've bought three watches this week so I'm done with watches. Not sure what came over me. Anyway, I've bought some pallets and I'm going to make a new couch for in the garden. After that I'm going to lie down, drink some wine and read the papers on my new couch. Also, I've bought a third playstation in the house so I can play a bit with the kids. Yes, the PlayStation is for me. And I'm trying to connect with my son by shooting people dead in a virtual world. With this corona I'm going back to my teenagers days. The only things missing are a couple of joints and a few beers. But dont tell my son about the joints and beers...

Going for a run tomorrow. We were due to run the Vienna Marathon next week but it got cancelled obviously. We are just ticking over keeping the legs in order, a gentle 25km round the block tomorrow. Already done 38km this week. Its nice to get out, we live in a small apartment in the city and apart from running or doing the weekly shop we don't leave the house.

Debating between staying home, and staying home. Not sure yet, but I think I'll stay at home.

Plans for the weekend? No plans, actually. But if the motivation happens, there are things I might do.
-Continue learning three new fiddle tunes.
-Organize my workshop.
-Repair a couple light fixtures that need attention.
-Update our photo catalog of collectibles.
-Finish my 2019 financial statement for out tax accountant.
-Service my Hamilton model 21 marine chronometer (10 years since last done).
-Finish servicing a friend’s Seth Thomas World, railroad standard clock.
-Do some things to my hobby car to prepare it for touring this summer, IF that happens.
-Do some things to my trailer to prepare for summer touring, IF that happens.
-Try hard not to spend too much time on the message board!

Lots to THINK about doing. But we’ll see.

I just received an email from a friend. She included a picture of a project her son did. Her son and his crew volunteered the equipment, fixtures, labor, and power to light the Calgary Saddledome in blue, in honour of first responders, health workers, and anyone in essential industries who are compelled to work so we can maintain our health, and some sort of normalcy.

Plenty of stuff to do in my household. I'm a person of a spontaneous nature so planning is reserved only for more serious stuff. Today I woke up to a nasty fishtank full of algae. I'm trying an old trick involving a piece of cloth over the exposed filter sponge to get it out. So far it's working great.

I also experimented with some muffin flavors

In the later hours I finally made myself organize some miscellaneous components from my electronics days.
I lined up a nixie tube, two transistors and an Integrated circuit to highlight just how far technology has come.
For comparison, the CPU in my PC, a 7th generation Intel I7 contains roughly two billion transistors

I’m gonna do a little dance, make a little love, and get down tonight (get down tonight)

And probably a little drinking on the front porch 😉

I'm in NYC so not that safe to venture out right now so will finish off Ozark and Schitt's Creek. What a thrilling Easter!

After reviewing a couple books as digital .pdf, re-reviewing those books as a real paper book and still finding errors & typos...
I really need a paper book in my hands ! 📖

Got the lawns mowed 2 minutes before it started raining today, so just a few bird boxes to put up tomorrow.

I plan on getting fat.

I just had dinner and I’m hungry
