Pie pan thoughts

Good afternoon! Been wanting a pie pan for a very long time now, and one has almost fallen in my lap. I am waiting for pictures of the movement and case back. I know for sure the band isn’t original, but I’m not super worried about that as I’m a leather band kinda guy. The crown does have the omega symbol.

Looking at the pics of the dial, I do see patina which makes me hope it is not a redial. Do you see anything that might tell me otherwise?

if I can’t get pictures of the movement, I might have to pop the case back off when I get there to inspect the movement. What are some red flags you look for when inspecting a vintage omega? I want to make sure this isn’t a pile of parts put together, but an original watch. I do have another omega (seamaster) that I will bring with to compare movement and case back and such.

And lastly- assuming this is all original minus the strap, what would the value be? Not looking for a deal, just want to make sure I’m not over paying

The font looks off, but photos too blurry for me to be certain. I would ask for sharp photos.

Crown looks like a replacement. I think most of these were decagonal.

Photos are terrible, so very tough to evaluate. Crown is wrong and case has been polished. What’s the asking price?

My money is on a redial from those pics. The font doesn’t look quite right in the top section. Anyway, it’s not a great example, with a heavily polished case and unsightly patina. Price wise probably worth about $750, and that’s if it’s not a redial.

Is that a gold bezel on a steel case?

As others said, would want clearer pictures to assess the dial but it might well be a redial. Overall, this one gives me bad vibes…

My eyes see redial with these pictures, fonts and spacing and print heaviness.

Heavy polish jobs over the years for sure.

And heavily processed, blurry pix for a reason.

Thanks for the expert advice! I decided not to go with this watch! The hunt continues!
