Pie pan dial on an Omega Constellation 2652, can this be?

Hi all

I'm still hunting for a 2852 in steel with a pie pan dial, so when a friend and member here forwarded me a link to a local ad, I was first excited but when flipping through the pictures, I was surprised to see it's a 2652. I was always under the assumption that 2652s only came with dome dials. Asking Dr. Google I only found one other example of an 2652 with a pie pan dial on IG. Not enough of an evidence for me to feel comfortable. So I'm reaching out to the expert on this fine forum here. What do you think, did this watch originally come with this dial? Perhaps a relevant information: The seller writes that the watch was recently serviced by Omega. A service dial perhaps?

Here are the pictures (unfortunately no straight on picture available)

Here a pic of the other example from IG, a gold capped 2652 with a pie pan dial.

Thanks in advance for any comments!

From a vdo of Omega Enthusiast channel, he said there are pie pan version of 2652. But I'm not sure, if he meant the ones that look like yours or the ones with more rounded ones.

waiting for experts then. I'm curious too.

My quick search found at least two other examples of the pie-pan version. I believe it might have been used in the later models of reference 2652, particularly those with movement numbers higher than 13.7 million.

It’s the correct one for the ref. 2652, but please note that the ref. 2652 will use the ‘applied’ Omega logo.

Thank you, @qazwsx1, I've seen the black one online as well, but as it says the caliber is 505, I assumed it's a 2852 and the auction house misread the number on the caseback.

I think that is true for any pie-pan dials that exist for Ref. 2652.

However, there are many earlier Ref. 2652’s without the applied Omega script.

Thanks, @gatorcpa. May I clarify that I mean the correct Omega Ref. 2652 with a pie-pan dial might match only with the ‘applied’ logo?
