Hello, fellow omegaforum members with whom I look upon with great admiration,
I wish to seek your wisdom once again.

I've been looking for a good solid gold pie-pan constellation, and have come across this entry below.

All looks quite nice, the dial may have some issues, but they may be simple easy dust off pieces or imperfections on the crystal (maybe).

case looks quite sharp, I wouldn't say unpolished but it has its hallmarks and all.

However, the peculiar part was the flat caseback, without any observatory medallion whatsoever.

Also the engraving on the inside of caseback looks a bit low-quality maybe??

I don't think there is a big problem, but I've just never seen a clean flat caseback like this before.

what are your opinions? just wanted to double check. Have you ever seen this flat caseback before??

Thank you so much, as always.

Gold presentation watches with detailed inscriptions and no medallion are a thing that happened, even some Speedmaster Pros were like that, overall that’s a pretty nice watch with good facets on the lugs

Gator beat me to it, but yes, I have similar watch incoming that retains the caseback engraving and is a 14k. Also, just noticed yours posted and mine on the way are brothers, or at least close cousins as both share a 23,8xx,xxx serial.
