So I have been searching for the Omega Pie Pan that was used in the Godfather by Michael Corleone (pretty sure his was the solid 18k gold one, instead of the capped gold) and came across this which was in my budget and was also in a pretty nice condition from a glance. However, I noticed some things that may or may not be true and was wondering if anyone else has one and could share some thoughts into it. I will include the photos that were uploaded then include notes that concern me about the watch. The seller did state that all watches by them are serviced to run perfectly for daily use, yet it is not stated that the watch has been polished or anything else. Any informatiom would greatly help. Thanks

Forgot to add some reference pictures of the Godfather watch and other Pie Pans being sold so here there are. At least the most obvious one to me is the font of the "n" in constellation and also the "Swiss Made" tag which in none of these, are covered by the hour markers

Greetings. Your post is rather confusing with all the other watches so maybe that’s why no answers yet. Regarding the first watch the photos are quite blurry perhaps intentionally but I thinks it is very over polished and also a redial. Your instincts are right. Take your time
I say hard pass on this one.

When looking at doglegs, you need look no further than the spelling of chronometer to know this is a redial.
You picked up on the Constellation but the soft edges of the pie pan and location of the minute haches are also an easy tell.
The Swiss Made is wrong as you say but with a 23m serial and lume on the dial - where are the Ts?

To save you from buying a pup, I think perhaps you should immerse yourself in Desmond’s blog to study the ins and outs of a correct dial.

Hope that helps.
