I joined this forum to browse the for sale section. While I didnt buy from here I did pick up a planet ocean for what I think is a pretty good deal. I have a speedster professional, a white SMP on rubber and now the Planet Ocean. I'm dumb, so I didnt even go to the AD to try one on. I just liked the way it looked...

Congratulations on your purchase! I have the same watch, and a black Omega rubber strap, a black Omega alligator strap with deployment buckle, a black and red Omega NATO strap, and I've got the bracelet on order. Wears nicely with all of them. What I like about it is that people don't really notice it as it appears from any distance that it's just another shiny dive watch. Enjoy!

Congratulations mate. The planet ocean 43.5 is the most high-end and professional-grade dive watch. You've got a great taste.

Super Jealous. I still cant figure out how I moved from Newport Beach to Las Vegas. Def miss the ocean. I have a pin buckle rubber strap on my SMP - the deployment buckle on the PO is so much better

This is one of my favourite models. I like very much the watches which have some orange on them. Even if it's a hand or bezel.. Enjoy your new watch!

Absolutely love mine. I enjoy it more and more with every wear.
Nice. I really went back and forth between the one I got and the white dial, orange bezel.

I don’t really have a lot of pictures on my iPad but I found this of the speedmaster before I removed the plastic. This was another new / unworn piece this one came from eBay though. A little sketchy but I guess they send them to be authenticated first and I did go to the ad to have the bracelet sized

Have the same one. Purchased from AD in early 2020. Also have the Black/Orange rubber strap which I much prefer over the bracelet for comfort and durability. Also very easy to adjust to fit over my wetsuit when diving.

I really like my PLANET OCEAN (In fact, all my OMEGAS.) and I like yours too. CONGRATS!! The rubber on the bezel though, gives me an uneasy feeling about its' longevity. I have never heard / read anything bad about it (The rubber.) it just seems problematic. The last thing I need is another watch, but I am so tempted to purchase a white & orange PLANET OCEAN. Thanks for posting!!

I was concerned about the "rubber" on the bezel too when I bought mine. It's not just plain ol' rubber. According to Omega it is vulcanized or hardened rubber and in their longevity testing they subjected it to the equivalent of 10 years of exposure with no degradation of the rubber that is encased in the ceramic/liquid metal bezel. Near the bottom of my what to worry about list. The problem with these Omega's is you can't just love one of them.
