After two years of looking I finally talked myself into buying a new Planet Ocean. Purchased in Fort Worth Texas at an AD. I tried my hardest to get them to give me a discount. Well, needless to say that didn’t happen. The store was also a Rolex AD as well. While I was there they sold two Rolex’s and an Omega Planet ocean to me. I had told myself that if I couldn’t get them to deal then I was goi g to walk. So much for that thought. This is my first Omega and I’m ecstatic.

Omega raised the dealer purchase price not too long ago, so their profit margins are even lower if they discount. Salespeople need their commissions, so no discounts. Don’t know how others are able to get their discounts unless it’s old stock, maybe?

Buying an Omega at full retail (no discount) is the epitome of how crazy the world is!!!!!

That's probably the most likely explanation..

Some other possibilities: people happened to purchase from the actual owner of the AD, so commission isnt an issue. Or the person who got the discount is a long term regular customer who is very likely to return and make more profit for the shop.

Anyways, congrats OP. Please do post some pictures.
Also, when I first read your post, I thought you meant you bought two Rolexes and an Omega yourself lol.
