·I don’t want to hijack the OP’s thread here as I’m interested in hearing peoples opinion on peloton as well but I was going to start a thread asking about rowing machines. My MD said I have three to six months left to get a shoulder surgery done which will put me out of commission for close to a year as it involves them putting in doner ligaments which will take more months than I care to mention to set. I went from 10% to 80% use of my arm through PT and can handle the occasional pain at this point. I took the last PT my insurance will cover last month but the therapist said he thinks it’s possible I could hit 85 to 90% usage of my arm with regular use of a rowing machine.
I’m asking here as I see people take pics in WRUW today in between usage of rowing machines. If I can break 80% I will have no problem passing on the surgery. The one I used at PT was not a home unit. I’m doing some research but I’d rather hear some names from people I know use them. No pity or anything needed here either way I’ll be fine in the end I’d just like to find a decent compact rowing machine and time is of the essence. I see a lot of used ones for sale around I would even go that route.
