30K 😲.
That's just insane. Why so much?? It's still just a golden Connie in the end.

That’s fair, far more so than paying 30k for an Ed White or a Hulk Submariner. It’s a really special watch worth fighting over.

Drastically more sensible than $50k for a silver snoopy too

It’s a lot of money, but good luck finding another? Let’s just say I’ve seen a bunch of nice 2915s pop up over the last couple days.. doubt I’ll see another one of these for a while.

What a nice looking watch, maybe it’s true value is now being realised?

Case looks softer on the more recent sale.

Out of curiosity: Would the crown also be solid 18k WG on this? In some pictures it looks like a slightly different color, might also be due to use though.

This is just the kind of watch that I'm hoping to find one day out in the wild

I wonder what the original purchase price would have been back in the day? Would be interesting to know.

It does to me. For that kind of money I would want to see crisp edges.

I think I would prefer to wear this beauty that @seekingseaquest owns. (photo stolen from his IG).

I recall seeing a retail price list on TZ about fifteen years ago. Can't remember details, but I think there were 14 kt as well as 18 kt white gold Connies specified.

I've never seen one in person other than at Omegamania.

😲

How many of these could have been made? Were they specially ordered or is it a kind of regular production?

I am just hoping to find it in stainless steel in the wild
You could easily afford this Chris if you sell some of your black dials

Christie's images look heavily processed, imo. Difficult to judge condition.
