I’ve just been given a Seamaster that I’m wanting to fix up. The dial looks to have been switched for one from another Seamaster (i think possibly a 166.067?). Can anyone share the part number for the dial and or know where I might be able to find one in good condition.

I've generally found it difficult to come across clean sparkle dials available separately for sale. This model is somewhat popular and you don't often see clean ones parted out. If somebody can help you confirm whether Omega still has these in stock, your best bet would be sending it to them for a service and dial replacement, or going to an Omega certified watchmaker that has a parts account. Neither would be particularly cheap, but the only other simple option that I see is setting a few ebay alerts and playing the waiting game.

Thanks, hopefully someone can help. It was my wife's grandfathers watch and would like to get it presentable so I can wear it.

Why do you think it was switched? I checked the reference number and same dial/case design came up. All 3 hands appear to be the correct length.

3 dial designs. White/white, white/yellow and black/yellow

.067 doesn't bring up any dial like that or case design.

Past the date I bought, so maybe someone more knowledgeable knows more

I did a lot of searching and the dial didn't quite match my watch - the date window and hour batons are different. I found this image which shows the 166.066 & 166.067 beside each other, hence my theory that the dial has been switched.

The yellow bezel is correct, but the dial looks identical the watch on the right. The hour batons are identical, and the chrome surrounding the date matches. It looks like the hands on the watch should be black as well.
