I guess the personalised approach is a little more of a pain in the a** and more likely more expensive. But is it possible?

I don't own a Speedmaster but would possibly take one if a squirrel could be engraved on it. 😎

Seriously. @Pahawi take by the upper ground by sticking with brass and accepting the personalised approach. As an option at least. Am in. With Xmas around the corner, am in for a few😀

(I have already bought one of these and its fantastic......way much better than aluminium re the weight IMO)

I can engrave almost everything, but the programming, etc. to my cnc machine is a lot of Work (often up to an hour), meaning an $50-60 extra - more if many letters. If you want more than one with the same engraving, the $50-60 extra counts on the first (as said more if many letters) - the rest will be $10 extra. Sorry I can't do it better for you. Might be cheaper to take it to a Engraving Shop?

Thanks,
Paul

Mine arrived a couple of weeks ago, but i haven't had the time to try them out & take the pics till late last night.

This is for the 168.005 Connie case opener.

Also fits this Citizen parts watch

Citizen Newmaster

4006-7010 Bell matic

135.041 Cal 601 Geneve, this is a fresh arrival.

136.0098 Cal 613 Geneve

It fits this 2400-2 Suveran, but it doesn't fit the 2400-1 or 2400-5

166.0141 cal 750 Geneve

It also fits these 4 reference numbers, but they were a little tight & it was too late to start looking for some tools... I was given "the look" just then. "The look" means its time to cease all (my ) activities...

168.005 Constellation
145.010 Chronostop
2676 Bumper
167.070 Seamaster

Great detective work - thanks 👍

FWIW - in my humble collection it also fits:

Constellation de luxe, Ref. 14381
Constellation Grand Luxe, Ref. 168.002
Constellation Ref. 14393
Seamaster Ref. 2577
Longines Conquest 9025.
It does not fit my 168.004's (connie, hidden crown models), though.

Surprised it fits so many diff. casebacks......

Thanks guys 👍

As Oddboy shows they now come with a glued on rubber grip:

The rubber fits the “old” openers too, but the holes in the rubber (for the bar) and the tunnel through the opener probably won’t line up perfectly. The rubber itself will be free, but with untracked shipping, envelope, a drive to the P.O. etc., you’ll probably still be facing $15-20 😟. PM me if you want me to ship you the rubber thingy.

People have kindly tested fitment on other watches and here’s the result so far:

Omega:
Speedmaster 2915
Speedmaster 2998
Speedmaster 105.002
Speedmaster 105.003
Speedmaster 105.012
Speedmaster 145.012
Speedmaster 145.022 + 145.0022
Speedmaster newer models 35…..
Speedmaster 145.014 MK II
Seamaster 14755
Seamaster 165.024
Seamaster 165.014
Seamaster 166.065
Seamaster 166.090
Seamaster 166.0250
Seamaster 166.0324
Seamaster 176.007
Seamaster 196.0072
Railmaster 2914 (probably fits several others Railmasters too).
Geneve 166.0188
Geneve 166.041
Constellation 198.0034
2179-4
Megaquartz 196.0038

Other brands:
Seiko 6138.0030
Tissot 46587-2X
Some Nivadas and Crotons
Vertex military watch
Certina Argonaut
Vertex military watch

I believe it can be used for changing straps on Dynamics (could someone check that please?).

An opener for smaller cases is available too:

So far it’s known to fit these:

Omega:
Constellation de luxe, Ref. 14381
Constellation Grand Luxe, Ref. 168.002
Constellation Ref. 14393
Constellation 168.005
Chronostop 145.010
Seamaster Ref. 2577
Seamaster 167.070
Geneve 166.0141 cal 750
Geneve 136.0098 Cal 613
Geneve 135.041 Cal 601
Suveran 2400-2, but it doesn't fit the 2400-1 or 2400-5

Other brands:
Longines Conquest 9025.
Seiko 4006-7010 Bell matic
Citizen Newmaster

Big thanks to all of ya´ for your support - and a special thanks to William for this:

I tried my Dynamic tool 206 on my Speedmaster 145.022 and (EDIT) it does fit. It also fits a Seamaster 166.032/168.023.

I tried my Dynamic tool 206 on my Speedmaster 145.022 and it's too small. However the Dynamic tool does fit a Seamaster 166.032/168.023.

Hmm, strange as I have a tool looking similar to yours and it fits my 145.022, which was why I thought the Speedy Opener might fit the Dynamics....

I stand corrected! I must not have placed my tool correctly. My post above has been edited.

It does fit.

just a note about my opener: I got one back in the day and wanted to be able to use it on my Berg 5700. So I sent it to a buddy who runs a specialized machine shop to modify the back side of the opener to accept the adapter for the 5700. I also wanted to knurl the sides for manual use.
It sat on the bench for awhile while other work was completed and then he did the work on the tool. It was completed and the adaptor fit was perfect and the knurling was perfect, and before he could ship it, he misplaced it in the shop.
So someday I hope to see it and I'll take some photos of it.
