...but it doesn't match up to what I'd expect.

Leaving aside the condition, the 135.004 variant should have a seahorse on the back, shouldn't it? This one doesn't. So is the extract a fake and the watch a crock, or is there something I'm not understanding about these pieces?

Also, the "Seamaster" engraving doesn't look very 1964.

The dial is reminiscent of one in Christie's current (Oct. 15-29) watch auction. Generally speaking, the 'S' you mentioned looks okay to my eyes as far as font, although others will have more experience with these. Lume is of course missing.

Casebacks I have seen with both the usual Omega engraving, or the plain P.A.F. and accompanying issue info, as here, but I have no idea whether these casebacks were shipped from factory like this or were an added part - I'm sure someone here knows this info off the top of their head.

If I came into a legitimate and documented P.A.F. and needed to sell it, for whatever reason, I can't imagine why I would use ebay - they may be trying to cross promote the listing in hopes of a bidding war to drive it over high street prices, is the only thing I can think of.

I agree the Seamaster on the front looks OK - I meant the engraved Seamaster on the back.

I also agree that eBay is a strange place to sell a watch like this so maybe you're right - it's about generate awareness and interest.

The extract says 286 w/sub-seconds. Hmm. Is the watch wrong or is the extract. And why even show an extract when the info doesn’t match the watch?

Gosh, yes, I missed that.

Asking for my own edification:

"Especially made for the Pakistan Air Force."
Do Extracts use this verbiage for PAF watches? It's not really incorrect English or even odd for a French-speaking company, but I would guess that there wouldn't be much variation in how Omega describes military-order watches. If the preferred usage is "Specially made for . . ." that would cast more doubt on the Extract, beyond the mismatch with the watch on sale.

Also, do PAF watches have the movement number stamped on the caseback? I don't see the logic of a military adopting the serial number from a watch company to keep track of their ordnance, but what do I know.

Maybe a typo. That calibers is Center second. And many have the mvmt number engraved outside the back.

I have bought around 14 PAF watches mainly Railmaster/Seamaster from this seller in the past and all have been good. He has a contact in Pakistan I believe and seems a decent lad.
He has had many PAF watches, Omega Longines and probably others and all seemed correct to me.
Never seen a 286 with sub seconds so a typo by Omega.
Hope that helps someone.
