@QuarterCuban As Miami-born member of the Cuban tribe, I just wanted to welcome you to the forum. Good luck finding a strap for your watch.

Well that certainly looks nice. Changes the look drastically on both the black and blue dial SMPs

I would think a 1610/930 would fit since it originally came with the 2254.

I found this band and the end link measurements look pretty close the Omega. I’m prepared for a little customization and the work bench if needed. Hopefully not.

Solid links, screws not pins. $45 out of China I think. I’ll send pics when I receive it!

Update on this. I’m considering buying an oyster bracelet for my SMP

I'm with the 'looks good' camp. I mean, if you did not know what an Oyster bracelet looked like and just judged on aesthetics alone, many would find it a pleasing combination.

I only recently found out how much better Rolex bracelets are than Omega. A shame. Perhaps they'll improve one day.

Yes 1610/930 speedmaster style bracelet from the 2254.80 fits the now older SMPc series without any issues
