The Topper edition is very cool. I wish no date watches were more common.

They’re great watches. A watchmaker friend of mine was an AD and he loved them.

I have three of them, one is a BC Pilot and another a classic pointer. These watches are work horses. Never a problem. Great style.

Not sure if anyone's mentioned these yet. Just released and very cool looking imo.

Oris Chronoris Movember edition. (photo from Web).

My Aquis is getting zero wrist time nowadays and I'm going to take a massive hit passing it on to fund something else but I'm still very very tempted to grab one of these!

Stopped by one of the few Oris AD's listed online (Madison, WI). Was impressed by what I looked at. The green face Aquis is badass.

Question about brass watches in general, are they more delicate due to brass being softer? Love the look.

I don’t think so. I find it harder than steel watches. It’s more susceptible to make scratches on other softer metals than the steel case. It may be due to the rotating bezel with teeth. My personal experience is that I keto it away from my other valuable metals. Oh yes it’s bronze not brass.

Bronze is much tougher that brass.

Oris is nowadays a very interesting company. I have two, this limited Star Wars Duo, only 250 made (the Stormtrooper version 1300 pieces, sold also separately):

I have also grown to like the Christopher Ward Range. They are very good looking at a reasonable price. I now have 2 if you haven’t yet seen them you must check them out.

This Oris is one of a couple of watches I got from my late father. It's seen some rough times and I was wondering if it was worth cleaning up. IMG_20191103_004352450.jpg IMG_20191103_004311349.jpg IMG_20191103_004012335.jpg
