I agree with you and it seems we often share common points. But this thread could have been more efficient and informative for the OP, if it wouldn't have been turned into a guessing game from the beginning.

BTW: The OP? Are you still there? How do you think we helped you?

Come on! Everyone loves a good guessing game!
Especially during these times when everyone's sitting at home with nothing to do...

I told you a couple of weeks ago, that I appreciate your knowledge. There's no doubt that you know your stuff.

But I think it is more constructive to either state something essential and well thought (taking the risk being wrong, included losing face in face of the whole world) or don't post any comment at all.

People here asking questions sometimes lack the experience that you as an experienced collector have. Playing guessing games is not what is first in place. So helping them out with just a few words or pictures would help these people more to learn and understand.

As I told you, I have great respect. You are a very well informed Speedmaster expert and highly acknowledged here. I am stating this, while I am aware I'm not going to be the most liked OF member of the year.

Thank you.

This is my general impression, not necessarily related to this thread.

Agreed! And one actually learns better by the Socratic method.

Plus, we've seen this before (and I'm in no way accusing the OP of this) where people come on here with a bogus watch, or a "Drawer find" piece, or any other type of B.S. and try to "Test the waters" and see if it will pass, or try to create a "Fresh to market" story by (ab)using this forum...

I know your point of view and wouldn't argue on this.

But see how many members felt they learned something by the information provided here (by you?)...

And yes, I'm trying to do my best, but I'm aware that I should be much more clear in my statements as well sometimes and also post more pictures of what I have in mind in the moment I state "wrong" or "right". But at least I'm trying to do so.

Thank you once again for beating me.

I really appreciate your contributions.

I can鈥檛 believe I missed those other points. The incorrect drop in the R should have been the easiest to spot. Can鈥檛 believe people would cover up Ts and remove Professional.

Thanks for all the input. Was fun to watch this one unfold. Hope it helped others as well. This is on the Bay, I should report it.

Both of your approaches to questions work, but personally I prefer yours.
The thread ends up much clearer.
