I’ve been dealing with these weird, fortunately not serious, medical ailments after getting Covid a # of times. One thing they try to do is throw different medications at you because I have come to find the medical community knows little about this at the moment.

I react strangely to a lot of meds so I get nervous trying them. This most recent med was suppose to clear up the “Covid fog” although they aren’t supposed to make you “high” I am pretty sure they did as I bought two watches I have no recollection of.

I also read a dialogue with someone I had, I was trying to buy a Tudor and we were 100 dollars apart. Thankfully I didn’t become an ass as I have absolutely no recollection of the communication. I didn’t know I bought the floating hour hour watch until I read an email thank you.

Then the seiko 5 tribute to Bruce Lee thing that was the next night when I told myself I’d be on guard make sure I don’t buy anything.

This could have been real bad I hope what I got isn’t junk and I’m seeing the neurologist today to change this crap before I buy a Daytona.

Good thing your inherent tastes run towards Seiko and not Patek 😁

Sorry to hear about the medical issues. Hoping it gets better. Maybe it would have been better if you were after a Patek or Rolex because they wouldn’t have had any watches to sell you. The Bruce Lee is pretty cool though. Looking forward to seeing some pictures when you get it.

Actually my tastes do run much higher but I’m getting paid on one of those prepaid cards until I’m
100% back to work but as you can see I only buy the best

Hey thanks @Aroxx nice of you to say. I consider myself quite lucky as I attended these “physical rehab” classes for post covid BS (actually they prefer “post viral BS” as apparently similar things happened to people after the Spanish flu and another one that broke out around the same time in Germany.

Poor people in the class trying to walk and talk again. Real nice people just obviously very depressed with what they are dealing with. I am nowhere near that bad but they are suggesting I
“Stop working” or at least find a new field no one knows what these, “post viral BS” stuff will do if u keep getting hit.

I’m giving my wife a thanks you card with cash in it. I’m gonna say it’s because I know I wasn’t fun to be around (especially the first month I was a mess) but she probably won’t buy it ask me what I bought.

I told the MD about the impulsive purchases and not knowing what the hell I was buying when I got up the next day but she said it’s her last option right now and see if the impulsivity subsides over two weeks so maybe I will get the Tudor or KS I’m negotiating for at night and not remembering until I check my email.

Actually all the conversations seem fine which is comical as I don’t remember any. Sometimes I amaze myself at what an idiot I can be. How did I finding that floating hour one?

What if im scamming myself.

It’s auto, or mechanical I can’t recall at the moment. Myiota movement I really like watches that tell time from “different points of view”. I’ll shoot you more info as I gather it. The lug to lug is a bit bigger than I usually prefer but that’s just a mental thing I got.

“Are people going to think I’m attention seeking” etc but everyone is too busy showing each other the new app they have on their smart phone.

I am working with an adoption agency Down south. Due to weather the area is overwhelmed with “homeless cats and doggos” I have had an account with them since hairy passed away and funny you brought it up I sent them a gift card for chewies. The girl I “work with” has been volunteering for over 20 years. If she calls me tomorrow with a fluffy white car this is in you.

in general the SEIKO looks more like a tribute to Ali (japan-edition) 😁 with

on the bezel.

Sorry to hear you are suffering J, on the upside….scientific study : cohort 1, result :- covid affects your taste but post viral syndrome doesn’t!

A family member is in a multi year study on aging as part of a university. The research subjects get paid in gift cards.

I guess not everyone wants to be a guinea pig.

I on the other hand do not need meds, to wonder why when or where I bought a watch. I think they breed when I am not looking. At least the current binge has a sort of record of my purchases. Shop Goodwill and eBay do not keep the purchase history forever. And now with more than 1000 posts It is hard to even search here for what I got in the last year.

Now if only I could breed some Tudors or watches with Pepsi dials ...
