Agree -- and by sheer chance recently put paid to that particular obstacle by moving on my BB58 Blue. Decided I could only keep one between it and the Pelagos, the the latter won the day, as the one I generally dive with.

Will have to try these on, hopefully in the company of my SMP Diver, but both blue or black looks great to me (so does the bronze/gold, but it's well out of my range). These seem like great, incremental upgrades that will work for more people, without the price hike that came with the 2861-based Speedies in some markets.

Blasphemy, you actually dive with your watch?

From Omega…

Soonest eta from HQ is July and that is just the initial shipment, which normally goes to our company-owned boutiques. Crossing fingers for delivery before August. Just want to let you know up front to manage their expectations.

Thanks-

I think I'll cancel my order and wait to see it in the metal. I'm disappointed they won't be here sooner.

I figured it would be mid summer. If my AD had asked for full payment I wouldn't have been happy but a small deposit is no big deal to wait.

Great looking watch and I like the changes they made to the bracelet, dial and seconds hand!

Since I have the prior titanium model in blue, I plan on purchasing the black model, once it becomes available.

Yep, like quite a few folks here I imagine. And swim and sail and snorkel. I like to use my tool watches as tool watches and the SMP 300 was my main diver until I picked up the Pelagos and Doxa (which is an absolute beast) The Omegas are very capable watches IME, despite the glossier touches. I’ve been very impressed with the durability and accuracy of mine over the years.

Back on topic — I’ve put an order in for the blue. Looking like September or so, according to AD. He said they’ve got nearly a dozen on order across the range.

Heres the back of the clasp (micro adjustment clasp ) from the Fratello review video. Look like the same clasp they used on the trilogy model seamaster bracelet.

Thanks for the photo....yes, very similar to the Trilogy clasp, but (thankfully!) slimmer.

Yeah, it is quite compact. Looks great in person.

Yep. That clasp was pretty unwieldy, never got on with it. This version looks solid but more manageable.

I should stop by my AD this week. I’ll ask if they have any, they seem to be pretty up to date on what’s available.
