·Have been keen on having a 2852 for some time and have come across this one. Any opinions? Looks genuine? Thought the C in "officially" looked odd at first... a bit bold, but have seen similar looks on others.

·On many examples the cross hair stops at the minute markers, this one goes to the end of the dial, isn't there a rule on that feature?

·So think we concluded it is genuine anyway. Also think it's a bit polished maybe, but is it that bad? I do prefer completely unpolished, but thought this one was acceptable... but apparently not 😀

There are better 2852 out there for sure, but it also often shows in the price.

·I was following this auction as well (actually it got re-listed a few times as the reserve price had not been reached previously). I was personally put off by the overpolished medallion myself, but was interested what price it would fetch. I thought I'd share it for the benefit of everyone. I hope the OP doesn't mind.
It finally went for slightly over EUR 900. Not totally out of this world for this condition in my (unexperienced) opinion.

Skipped it as well. It did not feel 100%, but as mentioned... if it was 100% the price would be higher as well so...
