I know there are tons of fugazis/frankens out there, so extreme caution is always merited. But this one seems to tick all the right boxes (notches on case side, correct font on bezel, consistent ageing, omega symbol on crystal, right movement). Thanks, as always, for everyone's expert eyes on this!

A bezel in such good condition always triggers alarm bells for me. Do you have better, non "artsy" pictures? It's hard to tell much with with cropping, dim lighting, and odd angles.

What would be most helpful? I can ask the seller for additional pix.

The basic front, side, back and movement shots from head on should do the trick. They should be well lit and high resolution with minimal reflection. As it is, I can't even tell if the seconds hand is correct.

I don't think I've seen a sweep hand like that one.

This watch seems superb to me ... but not being an expert, it's just a feeling !!

Yes, that's definitely not right.

The bezel is raising alarm bells for me. The case has been polished a few times, the dial has seen moisture (lume is the canary in the coal mine) so the wear & tear on the watch doesn’t line up with the near pristine bezel.
I’ve seen at least 3 variations on second hands for these, as well as two examples with speedy hands - which we can only speculate were probably factory service hands during an OOS period of the correct hands- so this one doesn’t surprise me.

Excellent observations all around.

I have no doubt the watch it legit, but the bezel.... It has an “aged” lume pearl which the fake bezels don’t to my recollection, but that wouldn’t be hard to replace (there are fake aged lume pearls). If the watch were cheap enough and you didn’t care about the potential originality of the bezel, and you find the dial attractive then go for it- but proceed under the assumption that it’s a bezel-less watch which dramatically decreases the value.

And you will NOT find a factory correct bezel for this if this one is indeed aftermarket- so don’t buy it thinking you can track down another bezel.

These are always problematic. I'll pass until one comes along about which there's no (or at least fewer) doubts!
