Hello guys, I'm new here and first of all I would like to thank you for having accepted me. I am also new to the vintage Omega subject and I need your opinion on this gold Omega Chrono that I am thinking of buying online. The seller does not inform the reference number but guarantees that it is a pre 321 model and the caliber is the Lemania 27ch 12c. The diameter of the case is 38mm. The seller also says that the watch is completely original and that it was manufactured in 1944. The asking price is $ 5500. I looked for similar ones on the internet but I didn't find any. What do you think? Should I run or go for it?

best regards,

Eduardo

It's a very colourful redial.
It is not even a redial of the original dial (if the watch really is a 1944 manufacture) as Omega didn't use applied logos in 1944.

Interesting size; I don't recall seeing one that large before.

Thanks. Like they say “When something seens to good to be true, generally isn’t. “
