Title. I found a really good deal for a vintage Omega ref166010. I have spent some time scrolling the forum but I can't seem to find this particular dial with 2 bands running across. Is this a redial? Also is the buckle original?

Thank you.

The brushed sides are completely polished unfortunately.

No, it is not a redial. And yes, the buckle is fake.
Whether the case is over polished or not would depend on the price, which you have not divulged.

Irrespective of price the case is over polished. That would bother me

The dial is original.

The seller is asking for $350. He insisted on it had not been polished at all.

From my part, I have looked up for more pictures online. I’m seeing a variety of finishes, from brushed like some of you have said to very polished like my particular model.

Originally, the sides had vertical brushing, but sometimes people polish it smooth if it gets damaged. Moreover, the edge between top and sides of the lugs is rounded over on that watch. IMO it has been aggressively polished on a buffing wheel. I think you can trust the opinions of the people commenting on the thread. Of course, if you like the watch and don't mind the polishing, that's totally fine. It has a cool dial.

I also think that 350 USD it's a fair price for this watch..not everyone look for not polish cases in like new condition..

Nice movement, nice dial (trash the cyclops though) and you have a decent Omega at $350.
The ultra polish finish will age as you wear it.

I wouldn't kick it out of bed on a cold night.

Rather uncommon dial, I like it. For 350€ that's a no-brainer. If the case annoys you too much, get another example of the same ref, transplant, sell the other one.

Vertical brushing shown on this photo. Yours lacks it but as said above 350usd is very fair price
