Hi. Im currently in Tokyo, first of all a lot of the watches i saw seem to be way overpriced, right now im looking at a watch here. I really like this style of hour markers. The case is a bit polished and has a bit of damage near the crown and some dinks. And misses one spring bar.
Sorry for the shit photos, i tried my best. But it is hard with a smartphone, if you guys have any tips on how to photograph one best it would be awesome.

The back is just the flat brushed cashback.
It has a caliber 285 and runs 20 seconds to fast. My inexperienced eyes would say the dial is original. The hour and minute markers seem to be evenly spaced, except for the ones on top. But thats due to the double baton. What do you guys think is it worth looking into more?

Asking price is 450 euros

Looks like it could be a ref 14732, the "A" on omega and the spacing between the swiss made makes me think it could be redial.

I was in Tokyo last October and was looking to purchase a Seiko UFO. I found the prices to be high as well. I left Japan without one.

I was in Tokyo this July and visited the market area famous for second hand watches and, like @Speed2Sea, found the vintage watches that appealed to me to be more expensive than eBay. I didn’t buy.

But, that said, €450 doesn’t sound unreasonable for the watch you’re looking at and, if you like it and are willing to take a chance on it having been repainted then you could get it.

On the fourth photo it looks like the supposed damage to the case is a notch in the bezel that should probably sit directly next to the crown. But it's not very clear.

Dial too nice compared to the rest of the watch. Bezel improperly replaced as the crown indent is off to the side.

Not a great job on case polishing. 5th image down. Heavy looking marks at the 47/48 minute area on the bezel and marks on top left lug. Plus others on the case

No movement images
