Looks ok at first glance, perhaps a 136.070. No offense to any owners, but it's one of my least favorite Omega designs. The case is so utilitarian it almost looks stamped out of sheet metal. Perhaps other people like it for the same reason.

How much helps up know if it’s a good deal or a bad deal

Looks fine but as Dan says, it’s very much an entry level piece. Fine as a cheap vintage Omega but not particularly sought after and don’t overpay.

looks legit to me too, and it's refreshing to see a new member posting pics and questions about an issue-free genuine watch 👍

I for one, love the simple, classy style of this era Geneve, mostly because I got one myself. I would totally wear it on that bracelet, funky 70´ style combined with clean 60´style looks great.

I really like that bracelet

Sort of pays homage to the 60's Tissot racing style bracelets. Mine pictured is a relatively modern Tissot with it's factory bracelet in the same retro style 👍

The OP's also reminds me of similar hand made rally bracelets from the Philippines.

Lovely dial, I have a soft spot for simple sunburst dials. As others have said these are nice but entry level, they do not have the same price point as a similar Seamaster or Constellation.

We all start our crazy obsession with one watch.

I think it's great starter Omega, simple clean lines, dress it up with a strap, or down with that cool bracelet.

But as noted previously, it comes down at least in part to the asking price.

It's guided at an auction for $180-370. Looks like a fair deal.

Thanks mate. It's guided around $180- $380, but I'm in South Africa so prices are generally lower than USA or EU.

I like it (especially the dial), but I know it's by no means the most sought-after model. Just want to get myself a decent watch with some history that I can be proud of. My price-range is also on the lower side as I'm just starting off in my career. Thanks for the input.

Yes I agree. I think this almost industrial style is getting back into fashion

Agree Seamaster and Constellation are probably even nicer, but these tend to age very well imo. You always see them in a better condition over here in South Africa than other models.

Its a lovely watch, one of my favorite watches is a simple 3 hander Eterna manual wind that was in the same price range as the Geneve. Buy it get it a service and a clean and enjoy its simplicity. And because, we need some photos, every thread does:

What is the max you would go on this watch in dollars? Would $350 be too much?

I would say that is a good price, factor in a service for say 150 and you'll have a cracking vintage omega
