Dear experts & Omega Afficionados

I am considering purchasing the watch below
  • 14k Yellow Gold (585)
  • 34mm
  • Manual cal. 269
  • Bracelet is new (claimed original from Omega)

There is no photo of the mechanism.

Thank you very much for your help !

So, to save us digging around Chrono24, why don’t you give us a bit more information.

Like where the seller’s based and what he says about price, condition, age and service history (and any movement photos - you can always ask the seller for them) and then tell us what you think about the condition, price and anything else that’s prompted you to reach out for a second opinion

Even with the high current price of gold, I think this one is overpriced. Dial looks good and the crosshatch subdial is consistent with the early 1960's style of other cal. 269 Omega's (including mine). Case seems to be very over polished on this one. Buckle doesn't look original either.

I agree with gatorcpa. For reference, I sold just a few months ago an Omega cal. 265 with a 38mm 18k yellow gold case. A bit polished, but generally in really good condition. Sold it on eBay for $2k, but I would have easily listed it for $1.8k on C24 since their fees are much lower.

A 34mm, 14k watch that is not a special model, would in my eye be much less for it to be a decent deal. Somewhere around $1.3k I'd imagine.
