Beautiful watches in this thread, Vacheron are clearly designing some awesome pieces, Congratulations to all owners.
Congrats to the OP on the watch! Very nice Having said that, I do have this voice in my head which is telling me it’s too much money for a steel watch, with not a lot of complications. Same goes for an “entry level” AP royal oak or PP aquanaut.
I was waiting for the Snoopy... This is blue as well! The problem is, I'm still waiting for the Snoopy
I'm on the list, for the Snoopy I hope I can get one in the first Q of 21. I wouldn't trade my vc for that but what I would trade https://www.chrono24.pt/jaegerlecou...ted-edition-300-pcs---6040420--id17305653.htm
For me too. It's my best watch by far. But I used my snoopy money for the vc... Plus some credit card I might have laying around. The truth is if snoopy wasn't so delayed, I wouldn't have bought the vc and I don't regret a bit.
I don't know why but the VC range has just clicked with me, the Overseas is just superb, the 56 is also a stunning watch, need the UK to come out of lockdown so that I can get to the boutique to try on some of these watches and see just which one looks the best on my wrist.
This watch is a true high horology and as good if not better in some aspects (beautiful blue dial with mirror polished effect and the 2 extra straps fast changing system) as the PP and the AP. I can't understand why a 5711 goes for 60k when you can have this almost retail. Is all hype and mkt as all 3 watches are very similar in all aspects. If you present the 5711, RO and the Seamaster to a engineer that's not into watchs and doesn't know a thing about watch brands (if you can find one), give him a loupe and ask for his opinion about those 3 watchs as mechanical machine im sure his opinion won't reflect the actual market prices. As a true watch lover for the intricate, difficult to execute, perfectly finished little pieces of art, it makes me sad to see the market behaving like this for the wrong reasons.
Dual time zone, That’s the one I’d have (but blue dial), funds permitting. A stunning looking watch. Jeeper
I would happily buy new from the AD, all my watches have been bought new, they are watches I like and intend to keep with the intention to pass on to my kids, for me its not about whether they retain value, its about buying what I want and enjoying the watch on my wrist. The experience of buying the a new watch from the dealer is all part of the fun, I am looking forward to getting my VC from the London Boutique at some point in the not too distant future. However this is not for everyone and not everyone wants to do this, so each to our own.
I can picture the guy off ArchieLuxury screaming this into the camera. Doesn’t make it true though, luckily.
Four pages later and still haven't seen it with the blue croc strap The blue rubber matches perfectly!!
Two very very nice timepieces, the VC Blue is just stunning any chance of some more pictures please. Thanks.
