Like wives.
....or loaners
Or husbands, of course.
And contrary to popular belief it does not get cheaper in bulk. Trust me on this😉😗

I’ve just woken up and realised that this particular 'worm' has been running around my head all night.

This one, although not worn as regularly as when I got it, would be high on my shortlist.

I would keep my Dads Omega and I would like to get a nice 600 Ploprof for free, as an infinite keeper.
And then, when the grass is grown over it, I would start to buy my watches back, starting with the Speedy 😉.

You're supposed to pick a watch you've never owned before for the second pick.

This thread right now...

Y'all can count on me to louse up any thread that catches my eye 😁

Keeper:

Wishful free I can never sell:

I am quite surprised by my choice, but i would probably keep only my Omega Seamaster Chronograph 2298.80.00
For my sacrifice, I´d like to be given a ALS Datograph. And since I´m not paying, make it a perpetual tourbillon or triple split. 😀

But you'll be responsible for the very hefty service costs on that tourbillon or trip!e split.

You’re being too practical. This is not a practical exercise.

At the moment, I think I keep my Heuer Viceroy and pick up a Rolex 5513 in epic condition.

But, part of me thinks I'd have to keep the little Seamaster that I was wearing when my son was born. It was the only 'nice' watch I had for a long time.

The reason my Speedmaster is my "keep" is that I was wearing it when my son was born.

I think this thread is just a sneaky way to get people to think about buying another watch.

This is a silly exercise but I’ll play:
Keeping my GMT because of all the history we have together and I’ll add the Reverso Hybris Mechanica (was gonna go with a vintage PP chrono but thats been done…)

Yeah, like any of us really need a nudge in that direction. 😁

Sell the Seiko and buy the Patek. One in, one out...

Keeping my 2008 2254.50. Sentimentality wins.

I’m not paying? Really? I’ve always loved the uncomplicated, no-blank-window-date classics from Lange. Thank you, Santa!

Good choice. I was considering this as my "add" as well.
