Hmmm. I think I need to add a Connie, but I have to digest that still. I also think an early Explorer or Datejust would be good additions.

I really want a Glashutte Original Sport GMT on a bracelet.

I'm going to go from 15+ watches to 6-8 grail watches.

Gemini 4
Ploprof 600
Ploprof 1200
Ed White
Skyfall
Apollo 35th

I have one Diver, modern and non-Omega in mind; but must sell one of my Divers before to make room. My Oris TT1 will be sacrificed.

I would love to add a vintage Zenith chrono with rotating bezel or the equivalent Movado Zenith. And an original big triangle 165.025.

New rules for 2016...only original examples with acrylic/Bakelite bezels and tritium dials. No "ifs, ands, or buts"...

I'll be looking for a reasonably priced 2915-1 and 2915-2. Piece of cake.

Hoping to add two Longines models this year, and waiting on a bunch of Kickstarter projects to complete and ship...

I venture into the Rolex world in 2016. Just bought a 14060M. Haven't received it yet but hopefully it will arrive one of the first days of 2016.

It also means that there will probably not be any other watch purchases for 2016

Hmm. I think depending on how things go, I may look for some more modern / casual pieces to wear in situations where I'd prefer not to go vintage....
-Dark Side
-Tudor Black Bay blue
-A decent, cheap 3-hander, perhaps a Seiko Cocktail Time or something like it
-Maybe a Gemini IV too, if one comes up

Vintage remains an interest though 😀
-An old Rolex GMT, 1675 or 16750
-Wouldn't mind finding a screw-back Heuer Autavia, or a 2446C GMT if the Rolex doesn't pan out

I'm still new to Omega watches, so basically I'd like every single one. But I firmly believe that I have to narrow it down.
An unpretentious Speedmaster Moonwatch pro would already be great. Maybe one with a Moonphase? We'll see... .

My plan is either a second Speedy or an Explorer I.

I'm enjoying my first vintage Omega. Now I'll wait patiently until one I really like appears for sale here. It's much more fun hanging around here looking at all the pictures of your museum-quality pieces than it is sifting through all the junk and fighting with the automatic bidders on ebay. Happy new year to all.

I can't help myself. I love it. I would rotate it through a couple of NATOs though.

I'm going to do my best to actually buy a watch next year. Radical I know, but in late 2014 and 2015 I had seven watches serviced (gave one to a buddy), bought a few very expensive books, and in general got interested again in all this nonsense. So while I didn't buy, lots of money went to the cause.

We'll see. My short list is quite short and rather specific; too few pop up to choose from and when one does, it can be gone in seconds, as did happen this year.

Cheers and happy new year!
