Watches on the wish list? Policy changes from Swatch? That Omega releases a Constellation Perpetual Calendar Chronograph?
Hmmm...let me see 1. A Speedmaster 2. Another Speedmaster 3. All of the above Oh...so I don't forget:
I am planning to purchase my first vintage Seamaster (60's) in early 2016. It will be the first Omega for me! I really hope to find one to my liking soon.
I'm with Blubarb. Although I can't get the Globemaster off my mind. I may have to pick up one of those...
Thanks. Will do, currently reading this forum and other websites like a maniac so i don't fall for a fake!
For 2016, I'm hoping several members lose their minds and fulfill my DIBS A-list. You know who you are.
I am pretty sure it will head that way after, but for now a budget Seamaster! Yea, i am starting to see just how much details there are. In a way it makes me appreciate the watches more.
Give it at least 6 months if not more. You start to appreciate different things at different times. Start looking at pics of dials on net and try to spot redials. Also there is a thread on the forum about redials. Sorry can't remember name. Buy a loupe go to dealers and look at dials but becarefull at dealers many over polished examples.
I'd like some more chronographs. Speedsonic f300 Cushion case is top of the list right now. The year is going to start with paying STS for the Speedmaster Mk3, Chronostop Geneve, and Chronostop Seamaster services though...
Watch the "For Sale" forum and pick up a beauty from a reliable friend that is upgrading their collection or financing a new acquisition. You don't last long here if you are dishonest. I hope to add a 2179 and a trench watch next year, I have a few others on the list but funding hasn't been arranged.
I truly hope that 2016 is the year of vintage Heuer for me. Been trying to land an early execution Autavia or 2447 NS/SN for a while and haven't had any success. Fingers crossed for 2016!
Actually my biggest wish is that the Australian dollar might find some parity (or at least a + bounce) with the USD. Watch this space, I suppose...
1. A Longines conquest power reserve 2. A zodiac seachron 3. A zodiac Astrographic (blue dial, digital and analogue) hmmm...... Just realised there is a Zodiac theme here ....
I'm going to circle back here and add a clarification. I would love to find a blue service dialed speedmaster. If anyone has one they're considering parting with, you know where to find me. I'm also going to say a prayer for a 2998-1 , -2. I feel that that I need a Base 1000 bezel.
Would really like to acquire a Great White this year. I think it would be the perfect accompaniment to my Speedy Pro!
